Amrap Chart Wrap – Tiny Little Houses and The Snowdroppers #1 in Community Radio Charts

The Amrap Metro and Amrap Regional Charts provide insight into what’s gaining airplay and attention on community radio. The charts show the Top 10 tracks ordered for airplay by community broadcasters through the Amrap’s AirIt music distribution service. This week sees Tiny Little Houses back in the Amrap Metro Chart with their new single and The Snowdroppers climb to the top spot in the Amrap Regional Chart.

’90s folk-pop influenced four-piece Tiny Little Houses’ new track Soon We Won’t Exist debuts in the Amrap Metro Chart at #1. The fuzzed out pop-rock masterpiece has grabbed a rotation spot on FBi Radio Sydney as well as a place in SYN Melbourne’s Sweet 16. It has gained additional airplay on King Island Radio in TAS, Tjuma Pulka Media Aboriginal Corporation in WA, Gove FM in NT, Hills Radio in SA, Valley FM in QLD, HOTFM and UGFM in VIC, as well as Central Hunter Radio and Triple H FM in NSW. Listen to the nostalgic track via Amrap Pages, featured on RTR FM Perth, Triple R Melbourne and Mountain District Radio in VIC.

Sydney blues-rockers The Snowdroppers have risen up the Amrap Regional Chart with the fuzzy upbeat grooves of their new single Devil Child. The dark slab of blues rock obtained airplay on Tyga FM in TAS, Coast FM and 5GTR FM in SA, Ballarat Community Radio, Melton Community Radio and 3NRG in VIC, and also Nambucca Valley Radio, Yass FM and 2EAR FM in NSW.

Indie-pop singer-songwriter Jack Colwell continues his domination of the Amrap Metro Chart, coming in at #2 with his emotionally raw yet beautiful track Don’t Cry Those Tears. Hear Colwell having a chat to Queer Radio on 4ZZZ Brisbane and watch the official video for his most bold release to date via Amrap Pages on Edge Radio Hobart, Bay FM Byron Bay and Triple R Melbourne. The track also received further airplay on Noongar Radio in WA, Fleurieu FM in SA, Noosa Community Radio in QLD, City Park Radio in TAS, CAAMA Radio in NT, JOY 94.9 and 3RPC in VIC, as well as Nambucca Valley Radio, 2SEA and Hawkesbury Radio in NSW.

Sydney Indie-folk five-piece Boy & Bear maintain their run in the Amrap Regional Chart with their tune Walk The Wire. Philadelphia Grand Jury have returned from hiatus to enter the Amrap Metro Chart at #6 with their brand spanking new single Crashing and Burning Pt. II. The punky and positive track nabbed a spot in SYN Melbourne’s Sweet 16 and has garnered airplay on stations including King Island Radio in TAS, Gove FM in NT, Hills Radio in SA, Valley FM in QLD, Twin Cities Radio in WA, UGFM and SYN in VIC, as well as 2SSR, Triple H FM and Port Stephens Radio in NSW and can be heard via Amrap Pages on 2RRR Sydney and Melton Community Radio in VIC.

Australia’s favourite sons Cold Chisel break into the Amrap Regional Chart at #8 with their epic, commanding and anthemic new track Lost. The band’s new single sits perfectly alongside their previous classics, and the official music video for the track can be viewed on Amrap Pages via Tyga FM in TAS, Heritage FM in WA, Port Stephens FM in NSW and Melton Community Radio in VIC.

Green Buzzard nab the #9 spot in the Amrap Metro Chart with their catchy slice of indie guitar-pop bliss, Slow It Down Now. The Sydney-based five-piece grabbed a spot on Sound Selection on RTR FM Perth and obtained additional airplay on RPP FM in VIC, Twin Cities Radio in WA, King Island Radio in TAS, Fraser Coast FM in QLD, as well as Macarthur Community Radio in NSW. Alt-pop musician Montaigne makes her debut in the Amrap Metro Chart at #10 with her opulent new tune Clip My Wings. The powerful and universally relatable track earned a spot on rotation on FBi Radio Sydney as well as further airplay on stations including Hills Radio in SA, Valley FM in QLD, HOTFM in VIC, and also Triple H FM, 2SSR and 2RRR in NSW.
