Amrap Chart Wrap: Thigh Master and Benny Walker Top Community Radio Charts

The Amrap Metro and Amrap Regional Charts provide insight into what’s gaining airplay and attention on community radio. The charts show the top ten tracks ordered for airplay by community broadcasters through the Amrap’s AirIt music distribution service. This week sees Thigh Master and Benny Walker take the #1 spots.
Thigh Master takes #1 for the third week in a row in the Amrap Metro Chart with Company having picked up spots in SYN Melbourne’s Sweet 16 and RTR FM Perth’s Sound Selection. Thigh Master frontman Matt Ford joined Ian from Brighten the Cornerson his hometown station 4ZZZ Brisbane, debuting tracks from the album and playing some commuter classics. Listen back here. Benny Walker has climbed to #1 in the Amrap Regional Chart with Oh No You Don’t. Benny has visited SYN Melbourne in the past, chatting to Mason, Stormy and Madeline about how travel has inspired his songwriting. Catherine Satour enters the Amrap Regional Chart at #6 with Set the Tone. Mark Lavender takes #7 in the Amrap Regional Chart with Running from the Rain (Feat. Kathryn Coad). Mark and Kathryn joined Bill Beerens on CRN’s nationally syndicated breakfast show Good Morning Country to chat about their music.
Winterbourne take #9 in the Amrap Metro Chart with But I Do having picked up a spot in SYN Melbourne’s Sweet 16. Earlier this year the band were interviewed and performed live on Home Brew Radio, an all Aussie music program broadcast across the country on the Community Radio Network.
Rob Imeson and the Family Tree take #9 in the Amrap Regional Chart with The Never Never. The song has amassed airplay across Australia at stations including 5 Triple Z in SA, KCR FM in WA, Burnett River Radio, Fraser Coast Community Radio and Gin Gin’s Own in QLD, Hot FM, Voice FM and Phoenix FM in VIC, as well as Radio Dungog, Valley FM and Northside Radio in NSW.
