Amrap Chart Wrap – Sydney Artists top Community Radio Charts

The Amrap Metro and Amrap Regional Charts provide insight into what’s gaining airplay and attention on community radio. The charts show the Top 10 tracks ordered for airplay by community broadcasters through the Amrap’s AirIt music distribution service. This week sees Jack Colwell enter the Amrap Metro Chart at #1, whilst Boy & Bear leap up the Amrap Regional Chart to take the top spot.

Sydney indie-pop songwriter Jack Colwell debuts at #1 in the Amrap Metro Chart with his single Don’t Cry Those Tears. The song is Colwell’s most raw release to date and has earned a rotation spot on FBi Radio Sydney, a place in RTR FM Perth’s Sound Selection and also in SYN Melbourne’s Sweet 16. Sydney indie-folk group Boy & Bear rose rapidly up both charts to reach #1 in the Amrap Regional Chart and #3 in the Amrap Metro Chart. Northern NSW blues and roots songwriter Ash Grunwald takes #2 in the Amrap Regional Chart with Second Guess. Ash stopped by Radio Adelaide to have a chat about his new album NOW.
