Amrap Chart Wrap – Asdasfr Bawd and Cold Chisel hold top spots

The Amrap Metro and Amrap Regional Charts provide insight into what’s gaining airplay and attention on community radio. The charts show the top ten tracks ordered for airplay by community broadcasters through the Amrap’s AirIt music distribution service. This week sees Asdasfr Bawd and Cold Chisel hold on to the top spots.

Asdasfr Bawd has held onto #1 in the Amrap Metro Chart with the masterful jungle rhythms of Alsp. The track is gaining traction at metropolitan stations across the country, picking up a spot in RTR FM Perth's Sound Selection, SYN Melbourne's Sweet 16, rotation on FBi Radio Sydney and New Noise Rotation on FBi Click Sydney. Cold Chisel return at #1 in the Amrap Regional Chart with their new single Lost. Watch the official film clip featured via Amrap Pages on station websites including Port Stephens FM in NSW, Tyga FM in TAS and 979 FM in VIC. The anthemic track has received further airplay across the country at Noongar FM in WA, 2RRR Sydney, Noosa Community Radio in QLD and PBA FM in SA.

Nicholas Allbrook has climbed to #2 in the Amrap Metro Chart with the space-age synth of Blanket 3072. Listen to his chat with Marty Doyle on FBi Radio's Dusty Fingers, talking about his upcoming solo records, his passions between recording projects and a few selections from his record collection. Allbrook's anarchic dreamscape is picking up high rotation at stations including RTR FM Perth, FBi Radio Sydney and SYN Melbourne.

Mia Dyson is tearing up the Amrap Regional Chart with the same raw and melodic rock we've come to expect from her in the new single Tearing up the Lawn. The track has received airplay across the country at stations including Bay FM in NSW, Gove FM in NT, ArtSound FM Canberra, 89.7 FM in WA, as well as 3MDR and 979 FM in VIC.

Tiny Little Houses have entered the Amrap Metro Chart at #3, channelling the 90s with the nostalgic single Soon we Won't Exist. The track has received airplay across the country at stations including ArtSound FM Canberra, RTR FM and Noongar Radio in WA, Noosa Community Radio and Bay FM in QLD, Northside FM, Yass FM, Highland FM 2RRR, 2BOB and FBi Radio in NSW, as well as 3RPC, Plenty Valley FM, 3ZZZ, 3CR, Southern FM, JOY 94.9 and Inner FM in VIC.

Melbourne folk traditionalist Joshua Seymour has entered the Amrap Regional Chart for the first time with the sentimental single Nothing to me Now. Listen to an interview and live performance on SYN Melbourne, talking all things new album and the supporting tour.

World's End Press have held onto a spot in the Amrap Metro Chart for the third week running, taking #4 with the dancefloor single Tall Stories. Watch the official film clip featured via Amrap Pages on station websites including 4ZZZ Brisbane, Nambucca Valley Radio in NSW, FBi Radio Sydney, as well as Triple R and 97.9 FM in VIC.

Melbourne five-piece The Paper Kites debut at #5 in the Amrap Regional Chart with Revelator Eyes. Watch the official film clip featured on station websites including TYGA FM and Edge Radio in TAS, along with Port Stephens FM in NSW. The dream pop track has received additional airplay elsewhere at Plenty Valley FM in VIC, 5GTR FM in SA and Tjuma Pulka Media Aboriginal Corporation in WA.

Mansionair join the Amrap Metro Chart ranks at #5 with the stormy single Speak Easy. Listen to them interviewed live from Splendour in the Grass by Byron Bay FM in NSW.
