Alison Wonderland and Vassy continue their global music chart onslaught with their latest records, both Australian EDM acts are based in the United States.

Alison Wonderland’s third album “Loner” last week entered Billboard’s Top Dance/Electronic Albums Chart at No. 3. “Awake” (2018) and “Run” (2015) also topped the chart.

At the same time, her “Something Real” single has generated 523,000 streams in the U.S., which saw it enter the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart at No. 31.

Earlier singles from “Loner” also made the chart, reported Billboard.

“F— U Love U” peaked at No. 41 in December, “Fear of Dying” at No. 47 in January and “New Day” at No. 50 in March.

Two years in the making, the DJ, singer and producer said “Loner” came out of a period of frustration and anxiety during the COVID lockdown in which she found love and hope.

“I owe it to whoever else is out there who was like me, wishing that they had an album like this to empower them to feel less alone and know that it’s all going to be okay one day,” she said.

In the meantime, Darwin-born Vassy’s “Bad”, with David Guetta & Showtek, has reached a total of two billion streams after it hit the one billion mark on YouTube.

“There’s six billion people on the planet!! Insane,” she posted in response.

The single went to No. 1 in 30 countries, hitting double Platinum status in seven markets and Gold in two of them.

Vassy has notched up 17 Platinum certifications throughout her career, with close to three million monthly Spotify listeners and eight million followers on Shazam.

In 2013 she became the first Australian artist to reach the No. 1 spot on the U.S. Billboard Dance Chart with her single solo debut “We Are Young”.

She is in Australia until mid-June to promote her current single “Tuff”, which she describes as “a song about perseverance.”

“No matter how hard things get, you’ve just got to roll with the punches and keep going.

“After the success of (last single “Chase” with Aussie duo Bonka) going No. 1 on both the ARIA Club Chart & U.S Billboard / Dance Radio Chart, I wanted to write a song about how one can get through the tough times in life and if they hang in there, they get through on the other side and feel happy about it.”

The track gets remixes from DJ/producers Sammy Porter, Beyond Chicago, Josh Hunter, Random Soul, Rubber People, Mind Electric, Jay Sounds and Kondo.
