Adelaide RNB Fridays event announced

Frontier Touring, Illusive, Southern Cross Austereo and its Hit Network are excited to confirm that RNB Fridays Live will now land in Adelaide’s Titanium Security Arena on Tuesday 22 November!

There’s no denying the hype around RNB Fridays Live; the Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne shows have been totally sold out for weeks and limited tickets remain in Perth after a venue capacity upgrade.

Sydneysiders who initially missed out on tickets: great news! A number of side view tickets have just been released to RNB Fridays Live at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on Friday 18 November. These new tickets are on sale NOW via Ticketek Australia.

Leading the line-up at Adelaide’s RNB Fridays Live will be hip hop queens TLC whose headline show at Thebarton Theatre on the same night has been replaced with this unmissable RNB Fridays Live event.

Ticketholders for TLC’s Adelaide headline show are in for a treat, already securing tickets to the show of the season. General Admission (Standing) and Meet & Greet Package ticketholders need take no action; their existing TLC tickets will be valid for entry into the RNB Fridays Live event. Premium Reserved Seating and Reserved Seating TLC ticketholders will be contacted by Ticketmaster to replace their tickets to those within a similar location within Titanium Security Arena for RNB Fridays Live.

RNB Fridays Live becomes a reality this November with one of the hottest line ups in RNB history. Collectively selling more than 84 million records and picking up 12 Grammy Awards from 36 nominations these 10 RNB legends are about to get the party started:

Is it getting ‘Hot In Herre’? Nelly, one of the best-selling rap artists in American music history, will be leading the charge at RNB Fridays Live. Nelly will be gracing audiences with a collection of iconic classics like ‘Ride Wit Me’ (ft. St. Lunatics), ‘Just A Dream’, ‘Shake Ya Tailfeather’ (ft. P Diddy and Murphy Lee) and ‘Dilemma’ (ft. Kelly Rowland) alongside recent favourites like ‘The Fix’ (ft. Jeremih) under his belt. Adding to the hype, the rap god announced AU and NZ headline shows last week in addition to his RNB Fridays Live appearances. ‘Grillz’ optional.

Three letters, five Grammys and more than 71 million record sales: TLC is one of the most iconic girl groups of all time. Since forming in 1991, the outfit have captured the world’s attention with their sassy and sophisticated RnB, showcased on favourites like ‘Waterfalls’ and ‘Unpretty’. ‘No Scrubs’ allowed.

If that’s not enough to ‘Lock U Down’, Mya will also be headed Down Under for RnB Fridays Live. The Grammy-winning RnB superstar will treat audiences across the country to massive hits like ‘Case Of The Ex (Whatcha Gonna Do)’ and ‘My Love Is Like… Wo’, best start rehearsing all your smooth moves.

Atlanta-bred quartet 112 will be bringing their soulful jams to the mix; don’t miss the chance to see their ultimate club banger ‘Dance With Me’ and Grammy-nominated jam ‘Peaches & Cream’ performed live. You won’t want to be ‘Anywhere’ else when their set kicks off.

Rounding out the line-up will be the names and voices behind some of the biggest tracks in modern RnB history: Montell Jordan (‘This Is How We Do It’, ‘Get On It Tonite’), Blackstreet (‘No Diggity’, ‘Don’t Leave Me’), Blu Cantrell (‘Hit ‘Em Up Style (Oops!)’, ‘Breathe’). Dante Thomas (‘Miss California’), Fatman Scoop (‘Be Faithful’) and Kevin Lyttle (‘Turn Me On’).

The fun doesn’t end there. In between these massive live performances, Australia’s #1 RNB DJ, DJ Horizon will be spinning all the biggest RnB hits that you remember and love from the 80s right through to today. Showing off his turntable skills on tour with Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Tyga, Jeremih and Timomatic to name a few, DJ Horizon has established himself as a name to watch in the RnB DJ scene.
