Electric Fields have announced huge changes to their team, signing a global deal with Warner Music Australia as well as striking a new management partnership.

The new management partnership will see the duo – made up of artist and performer Zaachariaha Fielding and producer-composer Michael Ross – co-managed by long-term manager Diane Sautelle as well as Wonderlick Entertainment.

Wonderlick Entertainment co-founder and CEO Stu MacQueen said the company is humbled that Zaachariaha, Michael and Diana invited them to join the family and be involved in a musically and culturally important project.

“Diana has done an incredible job of managing the band, staring down by herself the huge workload that comes with the opportunities created by such a special and boundary-pushing project,” he added.

To commemorate the signing, the duo have unveiled their first release with Warner, a new single ‘Gold Energy’.  This marks the first release the duo have put out under a major label, having previously released music independently.

Fielding described the song as being “about the shared spirit between people or animals or any living thing. When you receive that gold energy, you can sit with it and collect its goodness”.

This bout of news for Electric Fields comes shortly after the duo appeared at the 2021 National Indigenous Music Awards, giving a performance of Kev Carmody’s classic ‘From Little Things, Big Things Grow’ to help induct the artist into the NIMAs Hall of Fame.
